WORLD CUP 2010 : Wesley Sneijder statement

MILAN - Regarding reports in several media that draw on an interview with Dutch magazine Helden, Wesley Sneijder has made the following statement through inter.it:

"There has been a big misunderstanding in the transcription and the various translations of my words. In the interview I never referred directly to Maradona and Dunga. I have great respect for them, both for what they have done as players and their work as coaches. In the interview I only spoke about the differences between coaches, because no one can be the same as anyone else. I am very sorry that my words were wrongly interpreted."
