Inter Milan 1-2 Juventus

MILAN - Goals from Mauro German Camoranesi and David Trezeguet gave Juventus a 2-1 victory over Inter in Saturday's 'derby d'Italia'.

The Italian international scored just after the break, with the French forward doubling his team's lead before Maniche set up a dramatic finale with his first goal in black and blue.
The defeat, Inter's first at home in the Serie A since last season's 3-1 loss to Roma, sees Inter's lead cut to four points.

Inter made an attacking start to the Easter fixture but it was Ranieri's men who had the first clear chance to score when Julio Cesar tipped over Del Piero's close-range effort.
Dejan Stankovic headed on to the angle between bar and post as both teams enjoyed pockets of possession in an entertaining first half.

Inter went close again on 34 minutes, Buffon getting down at his left-hand post to parry Chivu's magnificent 30-yard free kick.

The Bianconeri almost had Inter on the back foot in the opening minute of the second half when Julio Cesar made a vital block from Nedved's angled volley.
They did in the 49th, albeit from an offside position when Camoranesi latched on to Chiellini's long ball forward and slid under Julio Cesar.

Mancini threw on Suazo for Jimenez but Juve edged further in front through Trezeguet who fired home from near range after intercepting Burdisso's headed clearance.
Inter's coach introduced Maniche for Cruz, later bringing on Balotelli for Chivu, and it was the Portuguese midfielder who had the greatest impact when he sidefooted home after a brilliant solo run by Maicon.

Maniche could have forced a draw in added time but his poked shot from Stankovic's backheeled through ball came back off the upright.
